Arrhenphobia is basically a persistent and abnormal fear for men. This phobia is also referred to as androphobia, fear of men and hominophobia. A person suffering from arrhenphobia basically feels uncomfortable and frightened when in the company of men. They tend to get panic attacks that are characterized by shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, rapid breathing, nausea, sweating and basically a dreadful feeling when in the company of men.
There are many drugs in the market today that are prescribed with the intention of helping a victim eliminate arrhenphobia. However, these drugs usually have side effects and withdrawal symptoms that are rather severe. In fact, these drugs basically don't help cure the victim from arrhenphobia. It only provides a temporary relief by suppressing the symptoms temporarily through chemical reactions.
A better approach to eradicating arrhenphobia is by getting enrolled in any phobia clinic. These clinics don't use any drugs to eliminate arrhenphobia. They only train the mind to control the feelings of fear one may experience when thinking and when in the company of men. Once feelings are controlled through consultation and psychology, arrhenphobia can be eradicated, never to haunt you again.
If suffering from arrhenphobia, it has to be eliminated as soon as possible as it can affect your health, social life, family and career. With arrhenphobia, you may start resigning yourself to living in fear and in the process; miss out on important life experiences. Both men and women cannot live a life with arrhenphobia as men are practically all around you.
When at work, shop, while traveling or when visiting the doctors, men are sure to be in the vicinity. It is practically impossible to live with arrhenphobia as it is very important and necessary to maintain relationship and communication with men for some reason as another. There are sure to be men in your family, friends' circle and in your office; so it is important to eradicate arrhenphobia.
With arrhenphobia, you will end up losing many lucrative opportunities. You will not be able to take promotions with arrhenphobia. With arrhenphobia, your chance or possibility of making money in life, and a name is quite impossible. This is more so if you are a woman as this is a male dominated society, and it is very important to tolerate, and learn to live and work with men if you wish to come up in life.
Usually arrhenphobia is started by the unconscious mind. There should, and is some event in the past that tend to link men with some sort of emotional trauma or grotesque memories. Perhaps sexual assault, rape, drunken beating or being sexually assaulted by your own family member; anything is possible to kindle arrhenphobia. This fear remains a catalyst that is then triggered by other benign events in life like movies, television or seeing someone else suffering the same trauma. Once the brain accepts man as a negative element, it tends to decide that it is better and safer to eliminate men completely from their contacts, and this is how arrhenphobia sets in.
It is only with the right advice and guidance is it possible to eradicate arrhenphobia. But it definitely has to be eliminated for a person to live life happily and successfully.
